Awards
At the Tricon 2010 three fandoms – European, Czech and Polish – will grant their awards. This will make the award ceremony (and at the same time the closing ceremony) one of the longest in history, although we are pretty sure that there were longer Hugo award ceremonies.
The Czech&Slovak fandom will grant their Karl Čapek Literary Award and Mlok & Ludvik Award.
The Polish fandom will grant, for the 25th time, their Janusz A. Zajdel Award in two categories: Best Novel and Best Short Story.
The European fandom will grant ESFS HALL OF FAME Awards in categories:
Best Author
Best Translator
Best Promoter
Best Magazine
Best Publisher
Best Artist
and Encouragement Awards.
