Tricon 2010

Company Luzodajnia.pl will join the games partners in Gymnasium in Czech Tesin. The company specialises in plastic slippers for cards.

During Tricon 2010 we will present for the first time in Poland the amateur Canadian movie “I heart Doomsday”, which won many awards at international film festivals.

The movie is a romanict sci-fi comedy about the love between a mad scientist and his assistant.

The IQ Publishing has become the main patron of Tricon. It is known for publishing computer games, such as machinarium.
There will be a meeting with company representatives in Yamato at 2 p.m. on Saturday. You’ll also have a chance to play some of the games at the convention.

The Croatians are planning to fight for the organisation of Eurocon 2012 in Zagreb. Olympus/Eastercon 2012 is going to bid for Eurocon 2012 as well.

This is a reminder that at midnight today we are disabling the online registration. After today, we will only accept payments for registrations made before 31st of July.

After 1st August you can only buy your membership directly at the convention, but we can’t guarantee that there will be any free.

It is a great pleasure to announce that Gerald Home has become another Tricon guest.

Gerald was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He played Tessek – Squid Head and the Mon Calamari Officer in “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi”, and was a puppeteer on “Little Shop of Horrors”, operating Audrey 11, the man-eating plant.
Gerald has appeared at many conventions and shows, meeting lots of Star Wars fans around the globe. He is an Honorary Member of several fan groups, including the “501st Legion” and the “Rebel Legion”. He is Honorary Ambassador of the “Star Wars Outer Rim Alliance” (“SWORA”), an international alliance of many Star Wars fan groups from all around the world, which he co-founded in 2008.

During Tricon you may buy Tricon key pendants in con shop. The pendants are made of fake cristal with Tricon’s logo and different colours of the bulbs.
